gominigo vs rho license plate

Just got my 2012 beauty last week and I've grown attached to the sexy look of a plateless front but I live in NJ and I know tickets will be coming my way if I leave it without a plate.
Basically I just wanted to know which of these tow hook methods sticks out further?
Im leaning towards the rho plate because it comes with rubber foots to prevent the plate from scratching up against the bumper for whatever reason and has adjustable angles/positions

ordered a rho frame last week and don't have it yet so i'll let you know how it goes. i was really only going to use it to pass inspection and take my chances without a front plate. in my state (MA), cops can't pull you over just for not having a front plate so we'll see how it goes.
