F12 / F13 (2012 - Current)
The future is now! The all new 6 series coupe (F12) and convertible (F13) details are out and dealers are taking orders. Still no word on when the 4 door Gran Coupe will go into production. |

Opening top in freezing weather
Are we allowed to open the top in freezing weather?
I think I've read somewhere that it may damage the cloth top if it's frozen when folding.

If the top is dry and without ice or snow there should be no problem. I used to open my Z3 during winter without problems, by taking these precautions. The weak point on that car was the plastic rear window, not the top itself.
By using common sense when operating the top you can enjoy the winter! I am lucky to have a heated garage, so I don't even need common sence when taking the car out for a topless spin
