You can't tell I've done this before, can you?
I just had a '98 328i hauled to the junkyard last week. I had taken most everything but one of the passenger side doors and trunk lid off and I got a whopping $89 for it. Minus a $45 tow fee and I netted $44. At least my wife was happy to have it gone

Frank, that'll need a TON of work to get to where it should be. I'd not rely on it for a daily driver.

Everyone in the e30 section says if you paid more than 100 bucks for your car they say you paid too much, but they turn around and try to sell then for 5-6k

Lmao

Why do people list their cars and NOT list the mileage? That should be one of the first things listed in the ad....

I hate seeing a really nice looking one then finding out it has 230k miles....and they're still asking 4500+

Well, on the E30, probably because almost all of the odometers are broken on them and they have no idea how many miles are actually on the car.

Replacing the footwells is a MAJOR job. Wouldn't seem to be, but they are. That's probably why it was left undone in the restoration. Also, them being rusted out points to many other areas (firewall/rear of wheelwells and trunk) that very likely have the same problem and aren't readily repairable. Get them down to about half that and it would be a good deal.

I emailed him and he even said that it ran fine before it was stored. I can't afford it though. All my money is going towards the engine build. Oh well.

What has to be done to repair the footwells? I would think that you just need sheetmetal welded in?
