It shows as an included bullet, not a checkbox option. If it were an option, it would be a check box and the amount would be displayed to the right of it - like on any other feature that is extra. I just got off the phone with BMW Customer service and am waiting for a call back from the manager. It could not be more clear on the website that this should be included. It is a gross error - and happens to be an error on a feature that significantly improves the performance of the car and the reason I chose SPORT. I am asking for them to take the car back and provide me with a new one. Will update you on how they deal with this.

You are actually really stupid. Very. Stupid.

This falls under False Claims - whether it was a mistake or intentionally meant to pull one over on the customer. Even having a package called SPORT ACTIVITY PACKAGE then deleting at the factory the Sport Suspension is a major issue. I will say that BMW is doing right by me on this.

Priceless. (As is Mike's reason for deleting his post #53).

It's nice to have a monkeyazz reunion. I just wish cdnrockies and 0428 could join in the fun.

Somebody should introduce this guy to bimmerbanker. Remember? From this thread:

They're both from Cali, and I bet they could become best friends.

Mike. Honestly, why do you encourage this type of diatribe on the site? What value is there to have people going off on other people?

Encourage?

I've been a moderator around here for nearly a decade. In that time I can name only a handful of users (sorry, "members") who knowingly abuse the freedoms forums afford the ability to post anything in any forum without restriction.

Post on Bimmerfest only if you have something to contribute, or have a question (on topic) that you want answered. If you don't, please leave... it makes my role much easier.

Peace out.

- Mike

Counting your deleted posts, haven't you said "Goodbye" like 19 times already? In the words of the immortal country song, "How can (we) miss you if you won't go away?"

I'll just speak for myself...I was willing to cut you a break, assume you were just not very internet savvy and not rib you too hard.

Great if BMW does the right thing and you get your AD...whatever...tell us how you did battle with BMW, fine...

But once you decided to try and rewrite history- and deleted content from this forum, thereby distorting the record so to speak -and added the "lol", you became worthy of nothing but derision and ridicule.

I'll answer your question. "What value is there to have people going off on other people?" It lets people know the norms for this community...be an noob, you can expect to get gently ribbed...be a fool, it will be pointed out.... people generally will not ride a member unless that member is so dense, stupid, proud, or I-dont-know-what, that they just cannot try and get the last word. Look in the mirror- whatever it is that prevents you from acting like a man in this setting is likely a challenge elsewhere in your life.

Mike does an outstanding job of moderating, and that is a professional opinion. He sets a tone, an expectation, and others pick up on that.

Sorry to take this off the topic of AD, but I thought it would be at least a bit on point.

I deleted the content because I did not want my wife to feel anything but happiness for her new car on her birthday and she googles and is Internet savvy. So no, there isn't a theme here that impacts my life. On the other hand, the fact that you spend your time on this blog not talking about cars but making fun of people who are less knowledgeable about BMWs than yourself, well - I would bet everything that it impacts other aspects of your life. Let's agree to disagree that BMW does not have an issue because of their misrepresentations as to what is included and what is not included with their various packages. I will cut the sarcasm out here and just say what's on my mind. And if Mike wants to ban me, so be it. Very best to you. I say we move on from this.

Let's move one.

But keep in mind than anything you put on the Internet, whether you delete it or not, is still floating around cyberspace for your wife, kids and grandchildren to find. Think about that before you make the keystroke.

Not able at this time to share the outcome, it is still in the works and it may be that the outcome is required to remain confidential.

In terms of the comment about content living on the Internet, Mike - I have been online developing Internet content since 1995. I know that content lives on on the net. Which is why my username is masked as is all of yours - or most of yours.

Best.
