2005 645ci Parking Lens issue

First, I would like to say that the members and this forum have provided a lot of useful information. The door sill lighting looks like my first project.

Does anyone know of replacement parking lenses or a way to clean up a lens? Here's a shot of the lens.

Did they crack/fracture?

I have not seen that before on such a fairly new vehicle.

I thought you were going to say they were yellowish.

I assumed water / condensation caused deterioration of the silver base inside. Silver Spring BMW hooked me up You simply pick from here http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partgrp.d...3&mospid=47767 and then email Evan ewinstead@mileone.com

That was a good price. I got one recently at the dealers here in Ireland & it was the equivalent of $134 (100, that was with a small discount). I can only imagine what price will be when euro () currency collapses!
Fitting one of these lenses requires partially removing the front wing, the lamp kind of fits up underneath the wing. Here is a "how to" guide for those looking at this thread in future:
