No heat after installing new thermostat
Hi
I installed a new thermostat in my 1997 328i today as I was only getting heat when the car was going at higher speeds and I thought my thermostat was stuck. So I installed the new one (and it isn't backwards) and now I have no heat at all. I opened the radiator screw and added coolant a few times and it is at a constant level now. the hoses going to the thermostat housing are fairly warm after driving but the hoses going into the dash at the back of the engine are not very warm. Any suggestions? please help!

Does the engine get to operating temp?

yes it did. and it is not overheating or anything.

when u installed thermo did you make shure hole was on top and did you make shure thermo stat cover lil hole was not plugged? bleed air
