If you looking are for a GM manual box, do yourself a favour and stay away from the Muncie 5 speed from the 1980's. There are some still at swap meets.
I put a Buick 3.8 litre in a Triumph TR-7 ragtop in the mid 90's and the Muncie box was simply crap. They were noted to be a crappy shifting tranny on the down shift. Completely vague to would not let you into 2nd gear. I found this out later and had to drop an autobox in instead.

Good Job bro, but are you going to fix the cluster and all those switches? looks real tacky and kind of ricer-ish IMO. It would be sweet if it looked completely stock and roaring like the V8 it is!!!

Looking good man, I would clean up those gauges and if any way possible hide that intake. Besides that, awesome work and good luck with future transmissions! 5spd swap soon?

The gauges will surely be fixed up, and were calculating things to ge the intake lower. Five speed swap is done, notice the shifter in the above pics

It still remains to be a sick machine, but why not put an auto gearbox in and some tanks of nitrous in the back and a controlunit for the solenoids under the clutch pedal
 Sorry, getting carried away :P We still want, more pictures and some action movies

No more auto crap!
I broke some things while enjoying the car the other day. Sadly it was some back road fun on my way home from work and there was no camera present I plan on doctoring it up enough to make you guys some videos and get a proper photo shoot before tearing it down for winter upgrades though.

The car is apart, againnn Getting a shaved and tucked engine bay, likely a better paint job, and the engine is getting some stuff to make it go fastttt!

I haven't forgotten about this guys...
The car is torn down for many changes, hopefully the next time you see it the V8 is accompanied by a snail-like object under the hood I'll post some photo updates when I get a chance to organize and upload some stuff. Can't wait for Bimmerfest 2012!

Likely a large single turbo, I really don't even have room for that under the hood so twins will be even more complicated and remote mount just isn't cool.
As far as horsepower goes, this is still a car built on a budget with mostly parts I've acquired over time so it's likely not going to see four digits but i'm hoping to get it in the 4-500 range this year if all goes well.
