A good start

I bought my first BMW last Friday - 2002 745i - great color - Chiaretto Red
drove it all day Saturday without a hitch....and then Sunday started to have some issues -
rear passenger side door open warning light - when the door was closed, in fact the door won't open, from inside or out - central locking is operational but just can't budge the door - then come to find out whilst messing around with the locking mechanisma that driver side rear door does not lock - central locking doesn't moev the door lock post......please tell me this is a common problem and I just have to press button A while standing on one leg or something to sort it out!

If you just bought it I would be going back to the dealer and have them fix it......sounds a little more complex than just a 'button not pushed' problem.......
