iDrive screen in F30

To me it looks like the design of the iDrive screen on the F30 is going to make it a pain to clean around it. It creates a number of hard-to-get-at places where dust and other gunk can easily get trapped and would be very difficult to remove. But I guess I would have to see the car in person to know if that is indeed true or not.

You are correct. But, as seen in the new 6er, it is part of the new "design language" they're adopting.

Just dust behind there with an air compressor now and then.
