Angel eyes?
So I've seen pics all over the web of E24's with angeleyes in the headlights.. Just wondering are there any aftermarket lights for the shark that these come in? Or is it a conversion? Anybody know how to do it?

the stupid circle things around the edge of the headlight I think originally on the older 5ers...
![]() That is OEM - but everyone and their mom is now putting them on their cars...even if they are not BMW's sometimes...It's just a fad - if we ignore it long enough maybe it will go away |

Those things are hideous! And no, I don't believe the E28s ever had those bug eyes. I do love the euro style lights on the Euro E28s. Now those are awesome!

ew... angel eyes on a 6.... gross.... my dad owns a 88 635 in great condition. cirrus blue / white
anyways... Id kill him if he ever did such an atrocity to his car, not that he would considering he has a great deal of common sense. |

hello guys , my name is Felix, i am a newbie here....i have a 1984 635csi auto and sometime people pass by and look at the car for it is originaL body , and parts. the only thing i have changed is the wheels and the previous owner had it for 15 years and kept it as original he could. if u start modifying the car to much it wont look original cos it aint origibal with all the new bits and bobs that u add. that my personal point of view. 635csi its a lovley car the way it is .

dont HATE me cause Im different.
Sorry if Im straight forward and looking for answers. Bimmers come of the assemble line looking alike, I love my 6 but I want aftermarket parts to be different. Seeing as though the automobile is not worth a lot in the best condition, Im changing more than just the rims. Happy Holiday......

It is your car, so you can do what you want to it. Like you said, you're just not in the norm of 6er Enthusiasts.
Experimentation is good with E30s. But not with E24s. One shouldn't mess with perfection (E24 design).

Change
Change is always good, seeing as though I've owned the auto for over twenty years it is time for change. I've done some research on the angel eyes for E24's and you can find them on ebay for around $100. Happy Motoring.......Perfection is in the eye of the beholder, until someone recreates perfection.

I say go for it, if you like it you keep it, if you hate it you sell it... Plus most of the time, non BMW people will be judging you, and they don't care about originality half the time.
That being said... I've seen angel eyes in dodge chargers and ford f150s, and cobalt, so that being said... Angel Eyes aren't for every car, proceed cautiously. Sent from my DROIDX using Bimmer |
