M-Sport Ride?

How stiff or soft will be the ride with the M-Sport? I'm waiting for the M-Sport but I'm a bit worry about a possible "harsh" ride. I don't want to sacrifice confort...specially with bigger wheels, ect.

Coming from a E60 with sport package, the ride of my e90 is rather stiff and somewhat uncomfortable, but I attribute it more to the runflat tires. However, I always appreciate the stiff ride after driving my wife's lexus es350.

Get m sport with adjustable dampers. It will cost you though.

It's all going to be personal preference. You just need to drive one.

I owned an M-sport and I loved it. But I am also biased, I see no reason to purchase a non-sport package equipped BMW. Just my two cents.

Wow, after my two e90s with sport package I'm hoping the F30 with M package is at least harder than those marshmallows. Now the RFTs...yeah those get ditched cuz there ain't no reason for that crap on a car.

Autocar said bmw engineers say the MSport with passive suspension will be less harsh then the normal car in Sport or Sport+ mode. MSport with Adaptive Suspension?.. don't know, I assume it'll be the same as the non MSport in Sport or Sport+ but just with stiffer sways, bushings and stuff..

One good reason is if you plan to put a good set of aftermarket suspension in yourself. Easily better than the stock sport suspension.

The ride of the M-Sport doesn't matter. You need to get the M-Sport because it simply looks better.

I just bought a 2011 msport sedan and would call the ride firm but not harsh in any way. I am pretty sensitive (not young anymore) and would even be OK if it were a little firmer. I put Bilsteins on my old Volvo V70 and even with stock springs it rode harsher than this. So my recommendation would be to think of your requirements for stiffness (roll) separately from damping, which is more likely to lead to harshness that you may not like.
