i know it doesn't specify that, you are correct. I chose the 8000k bulbs as per the suggestion of Alex at AlpineMSS. Call them or email them with questions. You can tell them i recommended them. I am so happy with the new look of my car. I ordered the kit for the X5, as per their instructions, but in special instructions you tell them your year and model to make sure they send you the right kit. Easy install, no codes, no removing bumper.

Sure does look tons better than stock and what I have on now. Is there any other brand in the market that sells this? Have you made comparisons?

i looked around for a while and read about people getting error codes, etc...
These seemed so reasonable, and they guys at Alpine have been great at getting back to me, especially on the phone, and took time to walk me thru some steps i had questions about. Became a no brainer. At 179.00 there is really not much downside.

My email to Alex at AlpineMMS:
Hi Alex,
I drive a 2010 BMW F02. I plan on upgrading to the new LED lights you have sold to one of the guys in the BMW forums.

Please tell me,

Any error codes?
Is this HID or LED?
Installation kit involved?
Will the rubber or whatever parts melt over time?
How many hours will the lights last?
Warranty?
Is it a plug and play?
Can replacement parts like the bulbs be bought over any counter?

Best Regards,
Sameer J Aswani
Singapore

These are LED's? No issues at all? Can you tell me the link to where you bought it from? I would prefer LED's over the HID's. Also how much?

Sam.,
I found these.. coule be the same as the one he is using. but from the look of the housing., it kinda remind me of Bill other China made LED. But NOKYA is a known brand.. so possible that its a better deal.. if that exist.

http://www.amazon.com/NOKYA-Power-An.../dp/B0039RE16A

Been following your guys for a while.. still lookin for a good replacement for my F01., a few for my E70 X5.. but F01 is a bit harder.

Just got notified of this thread again.

if anyone would like to give our ICE VXX with resistors a try, I think it would suit your needs perfectly without any errors. It's been on the market for 2 months and has received great reviews for the E60 and E92 LCIs

This is a review from a customer that had the Mtec V3.0 and tried the VXX.
The Mtec were as bright as the ICE V5. This review is posted on 5series.net on the Umnitza thread for the ICE VXX introduction.

at least if they are both as bright, for non mtec user, at least this is a cheaper option.

Sam, you can do this yourself- it's no biggie at all. Just watch the videos and ask questions either of Alex, or PM me or others here who have done it.

The AlpineMMs kit puts to rest the thread on angel eye replacements for the F01/F02. End of story.

I wonder if these would work on an ActiveHybrid 7??....the reason is the power source coming from the battery is a little different and has some higher volt considerations??...im not sure, anyone know?

you know I'm not sure if I'll install them myself.....I read all over the Manual for the Hybrid "dont touch anything electrical" because of the hybrid power pack......perhaps I need a professional installer on this one.....otherwise its a 15 min job.
