Thanks,
If you can do an ED, I would go with Adrian at BMW of South Atlanta. If you are looking to buy one of the lot or order one for stateside delivery, try BMW of Annapolis, MD. Ask for Dan Rykiel and use my name as a reference, Randall Morin.

Does anyone know the super elite money factor for the 3.0i??? is it lower than standard 0.00160??

  • Do 7 MSDs instead of a down payment. With a down payment, if the car is totaled you're out the down payment. With MSD's, you get the security deposits back if the car is a loss and you'll get a greater savings than you will from a down payment
  • Make sure the acquisition fee is $725 and not $925
  • If you stick with a 3.5 (rather than a 3.5is), insist on a money factor of .00175 (the sales support buy rate) and don't let the dealer mark it up 15 basis points. If you go with a 3.5is, the sales support rate is .00190, but the standard super elite money factor is .00175, so insist the dealer us the standard money factor instead if your credit score is 740 or above. Note that these money factors are before the MSDs, so your money factor post-MSDs (assuming a 3.5 or a 3.5is with the super elite MF) would be .00126 (.00175 - (7 * .00007))
  • If you have the time and inclination, doing European Delivery will save you even more

Jon S. posted the lease residuals in this thread --> http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=592128

Residual for Z4 are very high: 71% for 2 years and 65% for 3. Add 2% for a 12,000mile / year lease. That has to be a supported rate. No idea on MF, you'd have to send a PM to dealer.

From what I've seen lurking here there is no US option credit, OLP or build out cash for the Z4. For US residents, there is European Delivery discount and the BMW CCA rebate.

When you combine European Delivery invoice +$xxx for cap cost with > 70% US MSRP for residual, the lease payments usually are a bargain.

Here in the UK we are getting 4.9% APR, Navigation Credit and/or dealer contribution towards down payment. Residuals are more realistic though.
