From Order Input to VDC in 2 Weeks!! Amazing story!!

No poop, I have a customer (Bimmerfest member) who raced to get in on the M2D incentives at the last minute, and we managed to modify an existing order in 112 status just under the wire, at the last possible moment. I figured it would be at least four weeks until we saw the vehicle. Well, I pulled up today's availability report, and BOOM, there it was on the list of "Vehicles at Final Processing Center"... This has got to be some kind of a record...

That's great! It took about a month for me, which seems like the norm.

This is only 2 weeks, and you have to add in a cross-country rail trip... It literally went into production the day after I modified the spec's.

My sa told me I should be able to get both credit, but I'm just just confused how the deadline (1/3) calculated: according to ur post, seems u have to get delivery before deadline

The order needed to be placed by 1/3 which it barely was...

Records are made to be broken. Now you're the record holder

Ordrered mine on December 2nd (Friday)

It was at the dealer on December 16th (Friday)

Same deal though, Sales Manager found one that was going to production the next day and was able to modify the specs at the last minute.
