1M Diff

Has anyone looked if the 1M diff would bolt into the 35is? I was trying to checkout the parts on Real OEM, but couldn't find the 1M on there...

It would be a lot cheaper and better quality to go with a Quaife limited slip diff.

Ooh, hadn't realized it was available for the Z4!

Was pretty content with the Torsen on my old S2000 back in the day (until a wheel lifted), so this sounds great! Thanks for sharing

Do you have any firsthand knowledge on the unit? Particularly, how it's noise compares to the stock? How it is with the extra torque of the is?

I don't have any personal experience with the Quaife. But I have read a couple of threads on their use. They build a well engineered quality product I doubt the torque would be any issue. Give them or one of their US suppliers a call. Let us know what you find out. I will likely upgrade to one in the future myself as I enjoy the Autocross events. Open
diffs stink when you unload a wheel. Other mfg & suppliers are other
