Trunk doesn't always open when pressing with Comfort Access

Hello fellow 6'sers. Does anybody have a fix to a tempermental trunk roundel that sometimes I can push in and it unlocks the trunk(Comfort Access). A lot more times I have to get the remote out and push the button even then I sometimes just have to walk to the driver door and push the trunk release to unlock. I won't even touch on actually taking the key out and putting it in the key hole. Such a pain when your hands are full or u just want to throw something in the trunk. Is there a possible fuse on the blink or this is just the way it is-"IFFY". I brought this up to my SA and he stated that it will only pop up if both doors are unlocked. I have the setting on the I-drive set to unlock ALL doors. Any help appreciated.... FYI 2007 650i vert...

Do your top still drop? I have the same problem and it's only when i get the top lock error and the convertible light is blinking red. I think is a battery issue. BTW I think you posted this in the wrong forum.

Does the roundel switch work at all or only occasionally? I sometimes have to press my roundel twice to open the trunk. First push and trunk unlocks, push it a second time to open the trunk lid. Also try holding in the roundel for a few second vs a momentary push.

The trunk will not open when the top is not full up or down. If you have the "top not locked" error the trunk will not open.

Had the same problem until I changed the battery in the key fob. Works all the time now.

Had the same issue in my '07 650i until I changed the battery in the key fob.
