Mein Auto: 1998 328i Manual
DIY: Wood trim plastic tab fix. Located above glove box

One of the plastic tabs broke on the wood trim piece located above the glove box. To fix it I just used a paperclip and 5min epoxy. Bent the paper clip to mimic the plastic tab shape that has a shank. Then on the base, which is not shown in the photo below, I bent it to increase the surface area as it mates with the floor of the wood trim piece. Hope this may help.

Excellent fix. That said, I believe the correct way to fix faux wood trim is to throw it in the garbage.
