There's nothing wrong with Black Sapphire...until you put it next to Jet Black.

I have the same color after I was dead set on jet black. It is easier to take care of and hides more scratches then jet black by far!

Touche. Just for the record, I own a black sapphire E92.

lol I live in LA and had a jet black c350. no matter how hard i tried with a Costco batch of microfiber towels I couldn't get it dry and streak free. also 3 days in LA after a car wash you get a thick layer of dust that's really noticeable. those are the main reasons I went with black sapphire.

Nice! Why did you work the miles into the payment instead of just paying for it later?

Its cheaper to buy them up front. Also, I am absolutely going to be driving at least 90% of these miles.

I drive as much as you do, but I only got 12k miles. I plan to just buy the miles for 16c/mile later on. Enjoy it

Same sort of situation in Dallas. As much as I love the look of a CLEAN black car, I've opted for Mineral Grey Metallic just to be able to keep it cleaner looking.

I really love the Mineral gray as well. The only trouble is IMO is would clash with the interior that I want. I love the high gloss black trim with red stripe and I just think it goes better with black. Love the mineral gray though.

Thanks! Just curious. Why would you pay .16/mile later when you can pay .15/mile now? Residual gets affected no matter what.

Yeah. Hoping I'm not getting too many colors in play on mine:

• Mineral Grey
• Black seats with red highlights
• Aluminum trim with black trim highlight stripe

Seems like a lot of others are doing the exact same colors as me though, so at least if I'm messing up, I'll have plenty of company. :-)

I hope you are planning on getting a good tint on your windows. Black on black in Florida would not be my first choice.

Thats interesting. Neat looking combination. Hopefully the red seats are very similar to the red dash stripe. That is the only thing that would concern me. I don't think that they would design it not to go together. Enjoy, cannot wait to see some pics. Did you use Adrian one of the board sponsors?

I just modified the way I described it b/c it was confusing - I have the black seats with red highlights on the seats (Sports Line seats) and the aluminum trim with black trim stripe.

And yes, I did use Adrian. I'll have to drive it back to Dallas from Atlanta, but worth it to work with someone who knows what he's doing! (I could have done courtesy delivery, but would rather fly down and drive it home than deal with the delay/cost/complications of CD.)

Just in case anything happens to the car. I had my first accident in 2009 after owning a car for 4 months and it was written off. Thankfully, it was a purchase and the bank gave me $7k more than what I paid for it. If I had leased, I belive I would have lost any money paid for the extra miles. I am also buying an office condo just 10 miles from my house later this year, so I won't be driving 68 miles a day anymore as i have done for 10 years.

kind of makes sense. In what time frame can you purchase miles at .16 per mile?

Up to 6 months before expiration of your lease. I just put the extra money in an account each month and I'll pay it at that time.

Car looks amazing in the flesh, makes the outgoing model very dated indeed.

very nice indeed! My car is ordered an the agreed upon deal is considerably less than MSRP with a board sponsor. My money factor will be marked up a little .00205 by the dealership though. No biggie, I can use MSD's if I want. Also, I've calculated that cap cost reduction of discount under MSRP reduces your payment more than slight MF reductions.
