Z3 1.9 Engine Performance
I've been looking into increasing engine performance in my 1.9 mildly, nothing too crazy. Are there any aftermarket cams available for these Z's?
No, I won't do an LS1 swap. No, I won't sell it and buy a 2.8. Yes, I'm sure.

Get a supercharger. Only way to go.

Is the Downing Atlanta the only setup that is made for our cars? To my understanding they've stopped preduction of those superchargers. Maybe a custom setup is the only way to go now.

If it's a manual, you might wait for the turbo set up to be finalized. I'd give it another couple of months.
As for the cams, etc. visit 318ti.org for various options and the turbo setup.

Yup boost it or just swap in a 2.8L, that's what I did to my 1.9L.
