E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135.

Can anybody please help me, Today I tried to reset the service indicator after carrying out a service but my fault code reader would not communicate and it kept on saying switch on the ignition, But the ignition appeared to be on as the centre dash lights were on, This is a keyless ignition switch, Help please, Peter.

I always rely on my favorite indie shop to reset my service monitor. They have a little computer for this. But then I'm a great proponent of job creation.

Do a search. There is a way to reset it without any tools or computers. On a 3 series you put the fob in and hold the trip odometer reset for 5 seconds to get to the service menu.
