AWD delay?

Dropped by Bay Area dealer last Friday and a CA there claimed that the AWD F30 model was being delayed until next year. Anyone else heard this? Is it true? I suspect the CA was misinformed.

He likely meant next model year, aka MY2013 so July/August time frame.

Correct. The xi models are going to be 2013 models that should be here in the late summer / fall. We should get more information coming out in the next couple months with production probably starting around July 2012.

+1 Just in time to advertise Xdrive for the winter.

BMW NA, says they expect availability in September, but would not confirm. Told my CA to check back in a month for actual dates. I had been looking for an early September European Delivery date.

I heard the same thing. Also expecting early September ED on a 328xi.
