2nd F30 328i Dyno - InsideLine gets an amazing 240hp & 257tq at the wheels

The first dyno by EAS produced impressive horsepower and torque numbers from their 2012 Mineral Gray 328i. InsideLine puts their Melbourne Red 328i on the dyno and blows those number out of the water. Getting a max 240 horsepower at 5250 RPMs and 257 ft-lbs of torque at 4450. BMW official specs for the N20 motor are 245hp and 260 ft-lbs, but that's at the flywheel. These two dyno runs show unequivocally that BMW has massively underrated the power the N20 is putting out.

Stay tuned next week when we live stream the Bimmerfest Long Term Review 328i 6 speed strapped to Turner Motorsports Dyno. I'm looking forward to seeing how much power the 6 328i can translate to the road.
