Help with Another Dumb Color Question

I will be ordering a F30 next month. I was planning on getting the Silver but the Alpine White and the Red caught my eye at the dealership. I am committed to the black with red sports line interior. I know we all have our preferences. Is there anything I should know about living with any of these colors or selling the car down the road that should impact my decision or is it truly just a matter of personal preference? (i.e. do people get sick of a particular color, any practical advantages or disadvantages to a particular color, does it matter for resale?). My last two BMW's were black and gray. I am looking for something different. Thanks!

Hard to help with colors and the ones you mentioned are common but my 11 X5 ordered in white was the best part of it. No more "oh it's raining" or "the ground is still wet" to make me not want to start it up and go. The white looks clean and sometimes I go over a month without thinking about washing and never hesitate about using it under any weather conditions. It's like I been freed from prison. Black is not just another color, it's a second job.

My beef with black on my old car was that it gets lost in parking lots. A least once a week I walk further than I need to, pressing the "lock" button and listening for the horn to honk.

I would've gotten sunburst yellow for my new car if it was an option, as it stands, white was the loudest (and cheapest) choice.

The trick is to figure out what you like second best and order that. Or weenie out at the last minute and order your first choice. Either way, it cuts down on the angst and wringing-of-hands.

Here is the thing about BLACK. When a BLACK car is clean...it is the cleanest car on the road. When it is dirty...it is the dirtiest card on the road. If you maintain your cars, BLACK is a great color. As for the interior, I think if you have a BLACK car, with the "Coral Red" seats with the Aluminum Trim and BLACK accent (not RED, because they DO NOT match the Coral red seats), would look very high end and sharp. Black was my second choice with the Coral Red Seats as pictured below. My GF wanted a Red Car, so we went with the black interior with the red accent and brushed aluminum trim.
