The seat cargo nets have returned! Bummed I didn't get these on my E90.

Congrats your car looks beautiful. One detail that is great for people with kids is the rear doors open almost 90 degrees.

When you restart the car, does it keep all of your previous [comfort vs. sport] settings for steering, throttle, etc.? Or does it work like Audi's Drive Select, where it reverts to all the default settings every time you restart the car, so you'd have to re-select all of your preferred setting(s) EVERY F***ING time. 80% of the reason why I won't be getting another Audi!

The ride is so good that there is no reason to not leave it in sport. Runflat tires have really come a long way. There is no crashing over bumps like there used to be.
Very nice. And great job on those pictures. Looks like you had a nice day to take some good ones. About the drive (crashing)...is the lack of it due to a new generation of RFT or changes to the F30 suspension. If I had to guess I would say the latter.

Smile First Post

My son has my 2001 E46 330i and we have a 2006 e325i. Now we're almost ready to order a 335i sport line. I drove a 328i on Friday but didn't feel the thrill I was expecting after reading all the hoopla about the new twin turbo. Perhaps the 335i won't feel much different but the thought of having an additional 60 horses under the hood has psychological value for me.

Stampchez, many thanks for your post. We were leaning toward the Mineral Grey, and your pics convinced us. Also, we were ready to choose the black interior, but, again, your pics present a strong argument for the Everest Grey. I was surprised to see the red stitching as the BMWUSA site indicates that only black trim is available with the EG whether leather or leatherette. Could you shed some light on this? Also, did you get the adaptive M sport suspension? That also is not shown on the BMW site, as others here have pointed out. Finally, have decided to go with the 19" wheels after seeing yours. So, again, thanks for sharing, and congratulations on a beauty of a car.

What's the word on if the front plate thingy can be removed?

I don't think it can be removed but I believe if you custom order a car today it will come with a plain bumper. I'm not in the market so others have probably researched this more carefully than I have.

Yeah, all new production will not have it but I'm wondering for those who live in States that don't need them and bought one with it already one. Seems like it should only be a few screws, some filler and a bit of paint.

Yes. But, it will leave holes. You can get painted Bumper Plugs to cover them. www.bumperplugs.com

From mid-January 2012, the front bumper design has been changed. The permanently-installed has been eliminated

Prob not, its really not as bad as i initially thought. Its not easy, i saw someone who did it, there are 8 holes, a good amount of work would be requred then you have to match the paint.

To me, it looks like a $600-$800 job at your favorite shop. I wonder what the price differential would be compared to just replacing that front with an M-sport fascia.
