E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135.

Mein Auto: 2008 128i Vert
51K miles and passenger seat stopped working

I can't believe it! I haven't checked yet but I doubt this is covered under the CPO warranty. Geez.

A brief reading of the BMW CPO warranty indicates that "mechanical & electrical" parts (other than stereo or Navigation) are covered unless they are upkeep or wear & tear items.

I would take it into the dealer and ask...worst they say is "no". On the other hand BMW's goodwill bumper to bumper is usually to 75k and 18 months past expiration of original warrenty.

with the above said though...have you checked the fuse box? I don't have the fuse layout handy but I think both seats have a different fuse.

Fuse layout by whatheheck from the M5 board. Just click on the diagram to make it larger. Looks like fuse 14 & 21
