BMW Headlights (not a diesel question!)

Is it me or do you often see BMWs with burned out headlights?

I see them all the time, makes we wonder why these folks would continue to drive like that? The angel eyes burned out, regular lights. They must get a warning they have a burned out lamp.

It just seems I see this rather frequently.

I live in Toronto and don't think I've ever seen a BMW here with a burned out bulb.

I can't say that I see many burned out lights on *any* make of vehicle and the ones I *do* see tend to be older ones.

Maybe it's a South Florida thing? We get more daylight hours than you moles up in Canada! Ehhh?

But we have DRLs, so they're on all the time.

Nothing messes you up like no sun at all...if you're above the arctic circle during winter, there is no sun at all...sometimes you may see what looks like a growing sunrise, but then it stops and becomes a sunset...actually quite cool.

Yes, so do we! My point is if you only drive during daylight who cares if a light is burned out?

Just wondering why I see so many burned out lights on BMWs? And we do have lots of BMWs here in S. Fl.

I do recall seeing an E60 with a burnt out angle eye on the 401 in Toronto!
Makes one wonder why invest in a luxury car and not take care of it?

lot of burned out headlights around here but mostly in other makes.

I've noticed it a lot recently actually. Especially on BMWs. Angel eyes out, or one low-beam out, etc.
