![]() the only thing they did different on the last engine that kept it around for half a year was switch some kind of harness. I'll try and find out what kind. |

There truly is a benefit to using a dedicated Bimmer indie. People may scoff at how much I pay for labor, but my shop gets a Christmas card from me every year.
3D is probably the best shop I have ever done business with.

OK HOLY ****! There's a ton of water in my brakes. I really wanna try and mess with this my self. Dont know if I should. I read a few thing about syphoning water out of the break booster. Kinda wanna try that to see if that seems to be the problem then replace it after, given it works out.

There are a few topics on this issue. It's not an easy fix but it can be done.

Thanks quick99si! I found that in that well under the driver side cabin filter, the brake booster was half submerged in water. Dont think I'll have to take her in just yet. After a lot of trick vacum work and checking a lot of hoses things seem to be good. After I got the water out of that area surrounding the booster it stopped making any water type noises when pressing the pedal. I never actaully got even a drop of water out of the booster it self but there was a little in the vacum hosing between there and the ICV. At this point it's running great and the brakes feel great. Think I'll just take it in to get a general service. I'm at at 132k on the odometer and have no idea what on this 6th engine.
