MZ3 S54 M coupe CA Intake???

Ok well its time to change my intake filter on my coupe and for a long time I have always looked for a CA intake, but have settled for the K&N drop in. As far as I know the only one that was actually made for this car was DINAN and it was somewhere around $650, a little over priced for a AC Intake, no???.

Has anyone used something else or know of any other company? AFE, K&N, ect... If so please post pictures or send links, please....

There have been several tests of air filters. And they found that a stock air filter flows as much as any others, as long as you replace it fairly often.

And it filters better than the K&N.

Decades ago, a buddy put some hokey aftermarket intake with fancy foam filter on his Mopar. His dad walked into the garage, took one look at it, and proclaimed "a smart fly could find his way in through that thing!" and walked out. Still cracks me up after all these years, and he probably was pretty much spot-on with that assessment.
