M3 with slight burning smell

Hi , I just purchase used 2011 M3 w/ 3k miles . I have driven more lately and noticed that after stopped, there is a slight burning engine smell . I also noticed the sound of a droplet of fluid driping on to a hot metal surface making an evaporated noise. Anyone with any ideas or suggestions.

The sound is more than likely condensation from the AC dripping onto hot surfaces. I assume since you are in Houston that you are probably running AC. Burning smell could be oil burning off from an oil change.

BTW, congrats on the new M.
