E36 Transmission Leak/ Clutch Slave Cylinder problem please help!!!

A week ago my clutch stopped working. One morning I went to start my car and the clutch pedal went all the way back with no resistance what-so-ever. So I ordered a clutch master and slave cylinder. Yesterday I began installation, after removing my leaking clutch slave cylinder I went to remove my master. I found out that the master was still in good condition so I decided to leave it as is and just replace my slave. Today I replaced my slave and proceeded with bleeding the system by a method which requires me to push fresh brake fluid with a syringe through the tube which is connected to the fluid reservior while someone inside the car pumped the pedal. Everything seemed to be working fine until it started to get hard to push fresh liquid from the syringe. I continued by pushing harder on the syringe. After pushing it hard, my second person pushed down the pedal as done before and I heard a kind of loud pop sound I supposed near the transmission. I checked under to find that the area where the transmission meets the engine was leaking tons of fluid . I have already tried bleeding the system again but the transmission area continues to vigorously leak . Please help me with this problem I'm having and thank you!
