How many e89 Z4's sold in US?
Anyone know how many 2nd generation Z4s have been sold in the US since they were introduced in 2009?
I have yet to see another one in my area.

I saw that, but maybe I am missing something? Looks like it only goes back to 2011. That begged my question about going back to 2009

Well, a hard number would take a little research, but as you can see from the 2011 sales, the Z4 is not a volume seller. It's a rare car, and I'm glad for it! It certainly stands out when you drive and prompts lots of head turning.

Just for fun I looked up the UK numbers. The DVLA makes registration data public. Someone else has put it into a searchable on-line database.
Here are the numbers as of 3Q 2011: sDrive23i --> 4,271 sDrive28i --> 17 sDrive30i --> 1147 sDrive35i --> 682 sDrive35is --> 127 Total number of e89 Z4 6,287. Total number of BMW's licensed in the UK -- 1,317,856.
