Brussels - Destination Info
A few months ago, I went to Brussels for the first time (besides an airport visit for two hours).
It turned out to be an interesting city with great food and Bier - not to mention chocolate and waffles. Here's some info: What’s Doing In Brussels, Belgium Quote:

I have always enjoyed Brussels. I was there several times on visits to NATO. A visit to the Grand Place is well worth doing if one then visits some of the small restaurants on the side streets.
Another side trip well worth doing is the short train ride to either Ghent or another of my favorites, Brugge. My first visit to Bugge was via Eurostar from London to Brussels and then on the Belgium railroad to Brugge. Made it a long day trip. Cheers
