Performance Mods for the s30i

In the event I would decide to try and increase the performance of my s30i, what is available that doesn't involve any internal engine modifications? Thanks.

Dieter of the "z-racingteam.de", has driven several dozen Z4's in the past few months, and works with a shop near the Nurburgring to increase the power of the 30i, but all their best efforts have been able to yield is about 20HP, at a cost of Euro 800.00. It is his opinion that the money is better spent on

suspension upgrades, He hasn't tested the H&R springs yet, but doesn't expect them to be extremely different than the Eibachs, the AC Schnitzers are a bit harder, but the drop does improve the handling across all the aftermarket springs

non-RFT'S tires-Michelin PS2, Conti Sport Contact 5P, Pirelli PZero Nero or Hankook Evo S1

and if you are going to push hard, then a brake upgrade-E90 BBK, rears are O.K. as is (and there are no rear kits out yet)

He feels that sway bars don't give value for money if you have the Adaptive Suspension as the "yaw" control will re-adjust to compensate to bring body roll in line with the performance model in the computer.

Doesn't make the car any faster or quicker, but does let it slow down later...
