Chewy, I did it! New 535xi GT! Hooray!
She'll be in my hands on Tuesday:
535xi GT, Titanium Silver, Ivory/Black, Ash MSport Ceramic Controls (love them!) Dynamic Handling Heads Up Driver Assistance (is this good?) Cold Weather Premium Sound Value Apps Wow, thanks so much to chewy and everyone for your advice and support! Can't wait to take delivery. Probably more stuff than I need, but a great deal. And from a nice guy....

It was bittersweet at the dealer today. I felt so sad giving up my 2008 Wagon, but this 2012 GT is incredible! Without further ado, here are some pictures!!! What do you think?

 I owned an E39 Touring - BMW Tourings are great, but the GT offers much more luxury.

I know what you mean - so many of the ones on the lot are alpine white or black with limited features. To me, the MSport trim with the beefier front grill and the extra rubber on the back helps to balance the look of the car, if that makes sense. I love how this car is such a well-executed balance of sportiness, luxury, and utility. I can't believe there aren't more of them on the road.

those are the bmw 302s, that is the wheel that comes with the 2012 Msport pkg on both the gt 535 or 550 Msport.. i originally tried to have my dealer order mine with 351s the sport pkg wheel on the 5 series sedan but he couldn't make it happen.. ultimately i ended up really liking the look of this wheel on the car.. and i think the additional spokes probably reduce the flex of the wheel under the weight of the GT.. hopefully lowering the chance of bent rims and tire bubbles... could just be wishful thinking.. mp

ill post pics this sunday exterior should be done matte blk grills and side light markers go in tomorrow or friday...
radar and laser finally next wed/thursday my installer needs the car for two full days.. but i should be able to get tint down at the same time...that will just leave the exhaust.. by end of month i should be done.... will start posting pics as mods happen... ,mp

just posted a few before and after of matte black grills and side markers foggy out today so the pics are a little dark but black grills are hot..... highly recommend the black trims they make the GT look more sporty less 7 series.. will take better pics over the weekend and will include interior... posted the pics in the mod trouble thread i started the other day. mp
