I'm interested in the spare tire kit and tire cover as well. Is it a $15 or a 15% discount?

I decided to put my own spare tire kit together and saved myself $76 =) I ended up purchasing a used, but unused spare wheel/tire from a salvage yard, the OEM jack set from eBay, and a pair of OEM tire totes from eBay.

Sounds interesting, how about some pictures of the spare tire, jack set, tire tote, and tray if you got one of those also, so that we can see how it compares to the one some of us has purchased.

As soon as I get everything, I'll post some pics. There is no foam tray. The jack kit is stored in a tote bag and can be conveniently kept in the 'spare tire' compartment between the battery and the bumper.

Pics of spare tire in 2004 645CI

Would really appreciate any closeup pics of spare placement.
Planning trip from central Oregon to L.I., NY in about two months and I want to get rid of the RFTs. Any ideas on regular titters?. Any help would be appreciated.

Best Regards!!
Peter

Here are some pics of the M6 spare tire kit (fits my 650i as well) I posted to an earlier thread (didn't see the prior request for pics). I run Michellin non-RFT's and carry the spare. It has the jack enclosed in a foam tray fitted inside the spare and tote.

Greg, thanks for sharing this picture of your spare tire in the link above. I have casually looked around for a tire cover and never pulled the trigger, then I saw yours in the picture and tracked down the equivalent on Amazon.com. Mine doesn't say BMW but it serves it's function!

looks good and serves the exact same function (and probably allot cheaper than buying it new).

The discount deal was old but they still honored it. I think I'll be a repeat customer.
Thanks BimmerZone!
