So many questions. Lease is up in Sept on '10 535xit. Going to miss it, but too many problems, accident etc to buy off lease.

So, what to replace it with? 535i or xi - in NC so only a few days a year with snow, but it does happen and my previous 08 535i would slip a bit when wet.

Msport with white exterior - interior? Thinking cinamon. Like oyster, but I think way too hard to keep clean with an 8 year old? Don't think I want black. Tired of beige.

I drove a 12, with stop/start. Very strange. I got back into my e61 and really liked it better. Drove 550, very nice but pricey. If I turn off stop/start will I be happy? Will it feel as good as my e61?

Want to an ED in June or first of July, so probably will go with 2012 instead of 2013, don't think there will be much change anyway.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Andrew

Oyster is not that hard to keep clean.

You'll be fine with RWD in NC.

I just purchased my 2012 535i M sport and I try to find excuses to drive it as much as I can...my wife and I love it! We preferred the white with black leather; but I understand your situation with kids.

The start/stop is not as big of a deal as others make it sound. I was scared after reading reviews before my purchase like yourself. But I really don't mind it when I feel like being "green." So when I feel like polluting the earth more, I press two buttons: Sport and Auto start/stop off.

Go for it man, you won't be disappointed...

You can do it with one single action: Move the shifter to the left. This will put transmission in Sport Mode and will disable Auto Start/Stop at the same time.
