To be honest, I leave mine in tilt-down position 99% of the time, and with memory mirrors I don't touch the adjustments otherwise. My car doesn't have the folding mirrors, so I never got to "enjoy" that maneuver.

I learned to aim my outside rear-views out into the "blind spots" at the PDC so this is less useful to me.

Thank goodness for the rear view camera and the site lines!

But it was only temporarily. I just checked my car, and indeed, when the external mirror switch is toggled to the driver's side, then the passengar side mirror tilts down in reverse, not the opposit as I previously stated. I stand corrected, and am appropriately embarrassed.

I just found out that if I am ready to shut things down (turn off engine and leave car) I can press the start stop button while in drive and the tranny will go to park. The second push of the button shuts the engine off. This will eliminate pressing the Park button on top of the shifter when I am ready to leave the car.

When the engine shuts off during auto start/stop, you can wiggle your steering wheel to restart the engine.

I do this all the time. I press the shut off button while in drive, then activate the E brake and shut the radio off by activating the alarm with the key fob . The whole process takes me less than 3 sec. (I use the key fob cause it takes a while for the handle to activate the alarm when you have the soft-close automatic doors)

One thing I found kinda cool even though redundant for me (and those with comfort access) is the key/fob holder in between the cup holders just below the cig lighter. My CA put the fob there when he was first giving me a tour of the car. I've never used it though since I have comfort access and just leave the key in my pockets.

i'd like the trunk button (driver footwell) to be lighted. I fumble for it at night...

nice! i would have missed it too if my CA didn't show me. If I didn't have comfort access I would probably use that key holder often.

Mine is lit.

If you leave the radio, lights on when exiting the car, you don't have push the start/stop button in a second time. Simply lock the car and everything shuts off.

It's a cool courtesy light- works awesome to add a bright white light walking to my door.

Not sure if someone mentioned this yet, but i recently found out if you press the horn button once it turns on the exterior lights around the car (headlights, taillights, and lights on the door handles). I'd assume it probably mentions that in the manual somewhere but I didn't read it

here are two from my side:

1. if you scroll the small scroll wheel on right side of the steering wheel, you can scroll through the songs or radio stations, depending on the music source you had been using.
(i think every body knows this, but i thought this would make the next one easier to explain )

2. instead if you press the call attend button on the steering wheel first, and then use the scroll button, you can scroll through your call list. until i found this out, i had to reach out to the telephone button on center console and use the idrive wheel to make a call from the recent call list. or reach out to a shortcut button.

The "diamond" button is dual-purpose. Press briefly and the lights come on, as noted previously. Press and hold for 3 seconds to initiate the panic alarm.
