Take a look at this thread that I just posted with package/option pricing from today's unveiling in New York:

Lame pricing. Just like the F30, BMW is saying F-U to anyone who wants a decent driving car with xenons. So an X1 with M sport and xenons will require the awful ZPP (which tacks on the ridiculous moonroof). That's almost 40k for the X1 with some measure of sportiness and lighting that isn't from the 1980s.

BMW could still offer ala carte pricing. I'd gladly pay $1000 extra for a manual and $1200 straight up for xenons. It's the addition of required garbage like the moonroof that ruins the vehicle. No point in buying a car with a moonroof.

I'm interested in the color options. What are the odds of a Mineral White X1. I would buy two

can't get ZCW (cold weather package) with M Sport package. You can get heated seats as stand-alone option but can't get heated wheel. I have heated MSport wheel on a Z4 so why can't I get it on this car- which I would buy primarily to drive in the winter?
As blueguydotcom has stated, can't get ZLP (Lighting package) without buying $3950 ZPP (Premium package). Xenons not even available as stand-alone option, you ahve to get them as part of the $1200 ZLP If you want ZDA (park distance control) you have to get $2500 ZTP Package (Nav)

All three of my BMW's are moonroof delete cars. Both my E90 and my E46 are otherwise rather well equipped (Xenons, leather, HK stereo, etc.). My E83 (X3) does not have the Xenons, but I wish it did. For me, deleting the moonroof is a necessity, since I am very tall and need the extra headroom. I also have a strong preference for the Xenon lights. I am hoping BMW will make this configuration possible on the X1 (and the F30). I will take mine in a 6-speed manual, please.

The latest (March 2012) German price list says that the M sport package is only available with Le Mans Blue, Sapphire Black, Space Gray, Vermillion Red, Alpine White or Mineral White. You may be in luck...
