Smile 650 coupe incentives

Hey Guys,

Looking up any incentives/rebates and can't find and for the 6 series. I am USAA and they currently are doing a excellent discount averaging $12K off a 650 coupe. But they do state clearly this can be COMBINED with any other offers- quote " This incentive can be combined with all current retail offers unless otherwise stated."
So does BMW tend to offer incentives near the end of their model year or certain times of year?

I can't answer your question intelligently because I'm not sure about the end of MY, but I do know they were offering great deals for them towards the end of the CY. I picked mine up in November and others stated that great deals were given in December.

Are you military as well? I lease so I went through BMW Financial. I didn't bother checking with USAA even. Wonder if they can do something for a lease.

Thanks - I kind of though end of calendar year might bring some deals. But of course by then we're talking 2013 models with a price increase that might offset it. And I guess the timing will matter as this USAA special incentive ( extra $6K off until 9/30/2012) will end. And no not millitary, and plan is to buy not lease this one.

Oh ok. I thought USAA was exclusive to military.

I don't think USAA does leases. I bought my 128i coupe thru them and it was the smoothest car purchase I've ever made and was about $100 over invoice. I got competitive bids from about 6 dealers here in SOCAL,and went with Southbay BMW. They honored the USAA price even though they had to import the car from AZ.

Ya, I didn't think so either. That why I didn't bother checking.

Agree, looks like purchases only, don't see anything on their site about leases.

I did the Mission to Drive Sales Event back at the end of 2011, and it was $2500 off just for financing a minimum of $4700. Have to make payments for three months, and then can pay off on the fourth. Interest was 0.9%, so essentially nothing. Not sure what they'll do this year, but it was a pretty good end of year incentive. By the time I combined this with the price from my dealer I got a pretty good price.

End of year is critical for BMW because they want the Orb del Oro over Mercedes Benz. Other times are the obvious end-of-month and the less considered end-of-quarter. The average time for a car on the lot is 60 days; afterwards the car is costing the dealership money.

That's certainly true about cars on the lot costing dealers - but the BMW 6 series is a special beast, very few on the lots ( my Gainesville, FL dealer currently has ZERO in stock) And I would bet most are ordered, as mine if I decide to go for it.

You have a point from that situation.
