**OFFICAL 818/805 Bimmerfest 2012 Caravan**

Alright people,

Bimmerfest is a couple months away and it's time to get the caravans organized! The caravans out to Bimmerfest is arguably one of the best parts of the event! Last year we had well over 100+ cars occupying every lane of the 101 all the way into Pasadena! Let do it again! Here's the details...

Where: 4754 Commons Way Calabasas, CA 91302-3363

This is the same spot we met last year. Worked great, access to the freeway was easy, plenty of parking with no hassles. Vons is right in the complex so you can grabs food or whatever you guys need before we depart.

When: Saturday, May 19 2012. We will meet from 7:00-7:45 A.M. We will depart at 8:00 A.M. Bimmerfest gates open at 9:00 A.M. It take about a hour to get there from Calabasas. So please try to be on time, we want to arrive at the show in a timely manner.

Post up if you plan on attending! This is a really awesome part of the event! Please remember to obey the speed limits and don't do anything stupid. CHP will be monitoring the highways like always, they know of the annual event. We will also try to organize a merge with the Bay area caravan coming down the 101, to make the Caravan ever better.

We will be taking the 101 to the 134 to the 210 to Rose Bowl Dr.

Here is the Map. Meet spot in Calabassas Commons parking lot in RED. To avoid confusion. When we leave we follow the BLUE HIGHLIGHTED ROUTE

That looks amazing! I'm actually an E46fanatics member and frequent user. I had planned to join those guys at the Santa Barbara meet and drive all the way into Pasadena. I wasn't aware you had a meet in Calabasas, that's awesome as it's really close to me. I'll be joining you guys for sure! Do we need to bring anything? Or should we just show up at that address at 7:00 AM? Really looking forward to this!

This is the 3rd consecutive year we've done this caravan. Turn out is always great! Don't need to bring anything unless you want to! Meet time is from 7-7:45 A.M. We'll try out best to leave in a timely and orderly fashion so we arrive on time and together.

Great to learn that 805/818 caravan plans are taking shape!

Liquiddawn: like you I'll be heading down from SB, but when I checked out the route proposed by Gheybe on the E46Fanatics forum, he said they'll be taking the 101 to the 1 to the 110??? Is this really the case (for example as a 'scenic route')? If so, I think I'd rather sleep in a bit longer and make my way to Calabasas. In fact, I'll probably be coordinating with a few of the local Cars & Coffee guys, so if you're of the same mind let me know (PM is fine) and we can organize our own 'faction'.

i wish all other caravans from the bay area and sac can take the 99 to meet up with the fresno and vegas caravan, and we can all head to the Calabassas Commons parking lot at 7AM hopefully.

Yup I've been going to the Calabasas one since the beginning.. great meet and people. Most of the cars are tastefully modded or clean/stockish which is great. As always, i'll be posting up some pics. Liquid, it's E46Mango

Be advice, every Saturday is a Calabasas Farmer Market (see my attachment) near exit from 101 to Valley Circle. Big traffic on foot and on cars, always cops (at list 2 units).
To get in and out better use Parkway Calabasas entrance.

True! We will be completely avoiding that direction. Parkway Calabasas is the only exit we will be using. Also we might be having the local sheriff dept coming out the block off the intersections for us again.

We don't have to enter from Parkway Calabasas do we?? Just when we're exiting correct? Because I'm coming from Simi Valley, and there's really no way to enter from Parkway Calabasas for me. I can only take Valley Circle to get into the parking lot, unless I want to go around in a gigantic circle in order to get there LOL. What time does the farmers market start? I might have to get there really early to avoid all of the traffic.

You'll be fine coming which ever direction. When we leave however, we have to take Parkway Calabasas otherwise everything becomes a mess.

We will be trying our to keep this organized. This is a collective cruise to Bimmerfest.

Perfect!!!! I definitely want to leave with you guys! I just wasn't sure if it was going to be super difficult to enter the lot from the other direction. See you there!
