Very nice. How do those wheels look in real life? I'm not sure what to make of them. My truck will have the same ones.

Congratulations... I will be doing PCD on 23 April, picking up my 2013 X5--it was on the same production schedule as yours.

FYI...My ipod did not work with the Apple USB Cable. The Dealer gave me the "Y" Cable and everything is operational.

Where did you plug it in at? the center armrest storage or glove box? assuming there is a usb outlet in the glove box like the E60

Do they put the front plate attachment at the dealer or at the South Carolina?
I wonder if it is not too late to request not to add the front plate attachments.

I live in PA. I purchased my X5 in NJ. I contacted my CA about that. He said they will not put it on the cars for people who live in PA. It could be a dealer installation. Not sure though.

I know when I ordered my car from Germany the front plates were added at the Dealer. Wasn't sure about cars coming from SC. Eitherway, I will let my CA know I do not want the front plates added.

Yes it is the law, however I never have them mounted and I've never been pulled over or fined for it.

My older Ipod Classic would not connect with the standard Apple connector and I had to use the "Y" cable from BMW.

My Ipod Touch works with either cable.

P.S.

The Continental 4X4 Contact SSRs ride very smooth with very little noise.

Thanks for clarifying... I knew that the iphone 4 and touch would work with the standard white usb cable.

Regarding tires.. how harsh is the ride? You don't have sports suspension and your car is premium right?
Do you have convienence package? Did you realize that your window trim is not chrome but black?

I have the Premium and the ride is amazingly smooth. I did not get the Convienence Pkg.

My sister has a 2012 X5 D, with Michelin Latitude RFTs, and I find that the Michelins ride rougher than the Continentals.
