Recall notice

WHen I bought my GT, I signed up for recall notice alerts. I got this one a couple of days ago http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/pr...ls/results.cfm
Some 8 and 12-cylinder 2011-2012 BMWs are being recalled for the electric water pump. You should be able to click that link above and read the notice. You should be getting something in the mail, if you vehicle is affected.

Well, the original link didn't work, but this one gets you to the main input page....you have to drill down...aparantly, it uses cookies and the link didn't have everything needed to direct you there properly. FWIW, there are 3 recalls on the GT 2011/2012 models.

I put in 2012 BMW, but there was no choice for a 5-series. However, if I selected Model Year 2011, I found the 3 recalls for the 5-series GT.

Do you know if BMW is planning to extend the recall notices to 2012 models also?
