figured out how to really enjoy 550GT

After 6 weeks finally turned off the MPG indicator on the instrument panel...stopped being curious about my mpg, or stopped caring...

car in sport
drive in manual
sweet spot around 4-5500 rpms

drive this big sucker like my C4S...and

WOW so much fun...

And then just as i though it couldn't get any better??????

An A7 decided he should play with me......
when he finally caught up to me at the light on the west side highway at 56th street he gave me the finger....

i laughed

two seconds later smoke starting pouring out from the hood of his car....

Priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!

hopefully next week dinan tune and exhaust... be interesting to see what this can do then..

Stage 1 DINAN tune really enhances all those exhilarating driving characteristics. If you have the opportunity, go with Stage 2. Stage 2 DINAN tune makes my 5GT the ultimate Q-ship. This level tune transforms the car - as if it now is a V12 with gobs of low end torque. And while the hp #s aren't that much different between tunes, the Stage 2 hp is available more throughout the rev range - whereas Stage 1 is more upper rpms.
Regardless, enjoy the added power!

the wait SUCKS and the last few days/weeks conceit has arrived in the USA and you lose visibility of it really sucks...

by the way was one of the funniest thing on earth

I think that BMW should add the dynamic settings to the driver profile (key profile?) in the GT's...kind of like the M cars have the M button that you can set up with your personal preferences. Chassis set to Sport and tranny to DS at one touch.. Would be neat IMO.

Btw a few weeks ago I had an 'encounter' with an X5 (V8)and that thing moves too, but it 'ain't' no GT.

This is a great idea! I'm definitely faster off a light in Sport, and I wish I didn't have to remember to switch it every time I get in the car.

The wait started off a lil over a month and now I have a week to go!

more things to send to dvd in motion with requests...
recordable sideband top views...awesome... and dh setting in the key fob!!!!!!
must say once the car started smoking i got the f out of there....
