Changing front plastic glass from, head light?
Hello again!
I picked up a 2004 316 ES Ti Compact at the weekend - I got one problem sorted this morning through these forums - and am back on now with a question about changing the driver-side front plastic glass from, head light (indicator)? Could anyone point me in the right direction as to how I could go about, cheaply, replacing this please? Thanks a million! Chris |

What car is that in the picture? It doesn't look anything like an E46 or any other BMW I've seen. I thought all BMW's had twin lights on each side.
Anyway, on an E46, if you open the hood (bonnet to you guys on the wrong side of the pond) you'll see the clip that holds the lens on. Remove the clip( big piece of black plastic) and the trim piece in front of the lens and it should come right off. Online parts distributors will have replacements. I recommend finding one in England or you'll pay ridiculous amounts for shipping.

I guess it is. I just looked up some images, and the lights look very different from anything we ever got over here, but the rest of it looks familiar. Now I'm not sure if my previous comment about replacing the lens is valid.

Definitely a BMW but your headlights are different. My lens come off just by unclipping them.
