Finally got my winter shoes off and summers on!

Got an alignment right after the wheels got mounted with new FCABs and front end links.

Rover T, Great looking Bimmer!

Let me know what you guys think of these Tail Lights. They are being sold in Malaysia which is unfortunate. Still nice though.

Great deal!

I paid $7300 in January for a 2001 330Xi 5-spd. Sport. 130k miles. The car is in fairly good condition other than a few dents and a few rust spots, it has a clean bill of health, however I'm still catching up with some costly but standard maintenance.

I'm going to attempt the following DIYs: Shock mounts, rear rotors and pads, and spark plugs and coils in about a week.

RoverT, how do you like those Continental DW tires? Mine are being delivered today, can't wait to get them mounted, get a proper alignment, and feel the difference from my old worn Kumhos.

One thing you will feel a difference in is that new tires will always feel more squishy and slower reacting than stripped tires with hardly any tread to flex/bend when lateral direction is changed quickly.

What you'll gain though is much better road holding in wet conditions and a much much quieter ride.

It's hard to compare brand new tires against your current tires because you get used to them as they age. But from my experience with other new tires, these DW's are pretty grippy. It takes a lot to get them loose on clean/even asphalt. A road that's been beat up by cracks, holes, and mother nature will still offer DW's with great traction. i've never run PS2's so I don't know what it feels like with supposedly stiffer sidewalls. I find the turn-in quick enough not to feel sloppy and I look forward to this tires greater tread wear compared to previous tires of the same category/performance. The tires seem to give enough feedback when at the limit without screaming and letting everyone know you're 2mph from being drift king. They are nice and firm when they have lost partial traction to the surface.

from me!

They don't look flush with the bodywork. Are they standing proud? Could make them prone to damage. Would be a pita to replace.

I was not the one who took the shot. Even assuming they would fit properly, I still have not heard word from the seller. Thanks for the input though.

I thought the lights looked very unique. I haven't seen a pair that have looked quite as nice with those horizontal LED bars in the back resembling the rear lights of the newer gen. BMWs.

Which tail lamp style do you prefer? I'm looking to upgrade my 2001 amber and reds.
I was considering buying red and whites like yours. Its a very clean look.

Here is a pic. of the Malaysian lights installed.

Mine are original factory fit. They are pretty common. In fact everything on my car is as it was when it rolled off the line. I think it looks great as it is. Classy rather than boy racer.

It's in the background but looks like it's on the top of the car.

Well my first post, my first BMW, a 2003 325xi I absolutely love it. Will never buy anything other than a BMW. Have had it 2 weeks now. I believe it has the infamous oil pan gasket leak. The usual sunroof worm problem, and the drivers side window is slow to go up. But for the price and miles (147k) I thought I got a great deal. Very clean and well maintained. Here it is

If you don't mind my asking, how much did you pay? Are you going to be fixing the car yourself? Just noticed the driver's seat is starting to crack on my car.
