BMW Aftermarket Radio

In my old jeep i had a Pioneer F-700BT in dash double din radio. Unfortunately I can't find anything on having a double DIN inside my 2001 BMW 325CI, I have the Harmon Kordon system with the navigation and it looks very similar to a Double DIN. Everything i find thats compatible with my Bimmer isn't double DIN, but can my car fit a double DIN without cutting through my dash or extra modifications ? Id real like navigation also, i want everything the F700 comes with but in my car. it has speed monitoring witch i think is soo player when i go over the speed limit it turns the music down and recites "You are now over the speed limit" . I want the iPod integration also and hopefully some type of kit to be able to use my steering wheel controls.

None of what you want is possible. BMW uses a proprietary bus, and if you install anything but an OEM radio you lose all integration. AFAIK, but someone else may have a better answer.

You might search for "dice" and see if that does part of what you want.

^ Thats the only vendor I'd buy it from too, even if you have to wait. Read up on it, plenty of useful information out there to form an opinion on.

You can keep all steering wheel controls if you use a PAC SWI-X adapter with the double din head unit. A double din head unit will fit fine. If you already have a double din sized unit in your car then you won't need the AC control relocation kit.
