charging battery help

Can I charge the battery on my 05 X5 using the access post in the engine compartment, or do I need to go directly to the battery in the back? THANKS!

yes you can charge the battery from the post under the bonnet (hood), the neutral is also under the bonnet aswell it's on the inner wing on the right hand side towards the front.
