Black high gloss instrument panel question

Hello All

I have seen pictures of 2013 X3 28i did not come with the black high gloss instrument panel, according to BMW USA website and standard equipment list, it is suppose to be standard on the 28i, can anyone verify to this. I know they have switched the kidney grill to black on the 28i vs 35i.

If the BYO on the website says so, then that's probably the way it is. It's very possible, if not likely, that marketing pics from last year were speculative.
