Love all these people who happily ordered cars before the event came out.

Now they are ready and willing to cancel the cars they specifically ordered and were thrilled to get because they can't get a promotion that came out after the fact.

EDIT: Jon announced it about two months ago, but some people want it both ways. Order early to get the car soon AND get the promotion dollars.

It irks me for the people that wait. I guess rules don't apply to some people.

Does the Dealership give a $1000 voucher or coupon after your test drive it? Do I have to order it from the same dealership? I will be out of town when they have the event in May in DFW so I will probably find other dealership to do the Team USA event. But I would like to order my new BMW in one of the DFW dealership.

It's actually supposed to be good up until January 2013 on MY 2013 3 series cars.

anyone get the credit yet. I went to my dealership on the 20th for the drive event. I got nothing in the email yet fregarding the Credit.

I'm sure it's coming, but you don't really need the email. The dealer that you drove at has a copy of your drive and incentive for transacting the deal right now. You only need the email if you're going to go to another dealership.

uh oh...I hope the confirmation # works for other dealers. There is a better car at a differnet dealer for a better price.

This is the third year they've done this
BMW has a national database of all these drives are going into, any dealer can access that at any time so if you've driven
any dealer can get the information, not your personal info, but that you have driven.

Got my $1000 redemption code today via email from BMWNA ~ after two weeks. Did the drive on 04/19.

This might provide some sort of benchmark for all those who are still waiting for the code after the drive.

Check with the dealer you drove at, they have some info a few days after.......in the Bmwna lead system they have.....

Same here, from 4/17.

I just got my redemption code email about an hour ago. I did the test drive last Friday (April 27th).

Got mine today, too. Test drove 4/21.

My CA had me on the list, anyhow.

Seriously!!!!! That sucks!! That's what I was planning on using it for.

Another reason for keeping in touch with this board...didn't know about this until reading this post and almost sprung for a 2011 per-owned. Thinking about getting a 2012 now with this allowance plus the $500 from BMWCCA for a new bimmer. Was able to register for the drive in Palm Springs - still had a few sots available.

Edit: oops, just checked the BMWCCA allowance terms and it says that this does not qualify with any other special purchase program by BMWNA or BMW centers...darn.

Test Drive on 5/3 and got my code in the email this morning(5/5).
