Radio won't shut off until I lock the doors?

Curious if anyone else has this quirk. When I shut off the car the radio continues to play even when I get out and shut the doors. I could walk away for 15-20 minuites and the radio would continue to play, the only way to get it to shut off is to hit lock on the key fob. This is inconvenient as I park in my garage and like to leave the car unlocked, I have to lock and unlock the car to get the radio off but leave the car unlocked. Nothing in profiles addresses this, is there another trick or setting I could use?

Try hitting the Start/Stop button a second time after you shut the engine down. Make sure your foot is off the brake or you will start the engine up again.

First press = Engine off
Second Press = Accessories Off

Many complain about this but I like it. It's no different than turning a key all the way back from Igntion to ACC and then to Off. You just push the button twice. It lets you listen to the radio still if you hear a good song after you park and don't want to continue running the engine... Or if you have some last minute cleanup to do, etc...

I wondered about this when I first got my 335. I quickly realized that if you just hold the start/stop button for a couple seconds it shuts everything off. I quick push just turns off the engine. In other words, just hold it a little bit longer. It's really a non-issue once you figure it out. Good luck.

Actually you should lock the car even in your garage. I've read on these forums that if you leave it unlocked various systems on the car stay 'live' which is not good for battery life or something.

It takes two pushes. One long push won't do it.

Unless your second push is with your foot still on the brake.

Then it takes two more pushes to shut down everything
